My main musical influences growing up were Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Eva Cassidy, Paul Simon, and Annie Lennox. When I began songwriting I was inspired by the great female singer songwriters; Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald and Carole King. I am interested in both the lyrical detail and the melodies that tell a story. My songs reflect a curiosity in the world and the human condition and I hope they feel like an old, comforting friend when you listen to them.
