Artists

Neighbourhood Sessions is a place to play your songs to an audience that want to hear them.

Our aim as organisers is to provide a gig that you leave full of joy knowing you have connected to an appreciative and engaged audience. We will do our best to make this gig as easy as possible from pre event info, to soundcheck, merch space and a small green room. We provide all the PA and lights and work hard to promote all our gigs to our mailing list of over 350 people.

As a not for profit event, we take approximately £1 - £1.5 from each ticket to cover ticket fees and costs and look to provide the rest to the artists performing. We can be fleixble on ticket prices with the aim to balance making this local gig as affordable as possible for the audience whilst being a meaningful amount for you.

Our events are about 90mins to 2 hours, split across two sets, which might be a support act or a whole evening takeover.

If you would like to play at Neighbourhood Sessions please read our 'Perform' page.

Feedback from some of the artists we have had is below:

Tu-Kay and Ryan

Neighbourhood sessions was a dream gig. Fantastic organisation and communication from start to finish. We received a warm welcome and were looked after brilliantly by Steve, Simon and Ben. To play to a full crowd was such a joy and pleasure and we were humbled by the response we received to our performance and songs. We cannot thank Steve enough for inviting us and recommend Neighbourhood Sessions to performers and audiences alike; it is a night that will uplift you and bring you joy.

Jenny Colquitt

Neighbourhood sessions really is such an amazing and warm atmosphere, I had heard this before playing there but it was backed up on the night! Steve and the team make it such a lovely place to play!

Daisy Chute

Neighbourhood Sessions was genuinely one of my favourite gigs to play. Such a lovely warm audience and hospitality from our hosts. They looked after us and communicated brilliantly every step of the way, and we would not hesitate to recommend this gig to other artists and audiences alike!

Megson

Thanks so much for having us on Saturday! We all loved it - such a welcoming atmosphere and the sound was fabulous too :-)

Fricton Farm

Thank you so much for a spectacular evening. We tour a lot, and you are among the best organised presenters and promoters. The communication before the show was excellent , it's nice to walk in knowing what will happen. I saw lots of promotion online and that is a big plus. The venue is beautiful (thanks Simon), sound was excellent (thanks Ben). You have created a wonderful community and we were honoured to be a part of it for a night

Ed Blunt

Neighbourhood Sessions is the musician's dream: attentive and friendly audience, beautiful sound and lighting, and smooth organisation. One of my favourite gigs of the year.

George Pelham

Honestly in terms of feedback, I have nothing remotely constructive or critical. You really did create such a warm atmosphere - you were so so active in promoting it and the space looked so lovely on the night - only positive feedback from me!

Charlie Austen

I wanted to thank you again for a lovely evening. It's really inspiring to see what you have created. The space is beautiful, the sound was great and I was made to feel at home by everyone involved. It was a joy to play to such a generous and attentive audience.
